Renting Our Villas

  • Bed Linen, Towels and Swimming Pool Towels are provided.
  • Bed Linen is changed once per week, and towels twice per week.
  • Maid Service is provided 3 times per week. If you require more or less, please advise us in advance of your arrival.

The rental price includes water, gas and electricity charges. Please do not leave the air conditioning on when you leave the villa. Electricity is very expensive in Portugal, and the air conditioning starts to work quickly when you return to the villa. Our staff have instructions to turn off the air conditioning if you are not at home.

Property Managers and Maids

Our local property managers speak English and are available if you need any help, assistance or advice during your holiday.

Some maids may not speak much English, but will always request the attendance of our property manager.

Whilst there is no requirement for a tip at the end of your holiday, if your maid has given you a good service, it is much appreciated if you decide to leave a tip of around 25 euros per week.

Check In – Check Out Times

As we wish to present our villas to you in pristine condition, our villas are rigorously cleaned before your arrival. This does take some time with between 3 and 5 bedrooms and a similar number of bathrooms.

Unless previously agreed, please do not arrive to check in before 2pm and please vacate the property by 10am on your departure day.

Information in our Villas

You will find a comprehensive information booklet inside all our villas which will give you info on the local beaches, restaurants and places to visit.

For those “foodies” amongst you, we will recommend all our favourite restaurants which we have been visiting for many years.

Local Supermarkets

There are a number of very good local supermarkets within just a few minutes drive from all of our villas. The Apolonia supermarket is particularly good with a large selection of international items. It is an advantage to have a hire car, especially for shopping and visiting the lovely beaches and coves in the area, but it is possible to walk to at least one supermarket from each of our villas. This may take between 10 and 20 minutes to walk. Local taxis are also available and may be called from the supermarket to help with your shopping, but we find that most of our guests hire at least one car during their holiday.

There is a large shopping complex at Algarve Shopping which is on the EN 125 road at Guia, around 5 – 10 minutes drive from our villas. There are numerous restaurants here together with cinemas etc.
